Call for Papers! Cloud-Edge Continuum (CEC’24) workshop

The CEC’24 workshop will be held on October 28, 2024 and is organized and co-located with IEEE ICNP’24 conference. Accepted papers will be published in IEEE proceedings. We welcome submissions before 15 July 2024! This workshop is co-organized by the SmartEdge project.

The CEC workshop gathers academics and industry experts to explore Cloud-Edge Continuum ecosystems. It promotes collaboration, idea exchange, and the sharing of experiences and solutions for challenges in various sectors like healthcare, transportation, and smart cities.

Topics of interest

We welcome submissions of original research, work-in-progress, and proof of concepts describing original ideas and presenting new directions. We invite submissions covering the aspects around the design, development, and evaluation of architectures, technologies, and applications for the Cloud-Edge Continuum, including but not limited to:

  • Network optimization and interoperable protocols for the Cloud-Edge Continuum
  • Novel system architectures and hardware designs in the Cloud-Edge Continuum
