Deliverable D5.2 about Low-code tools released
We’re excited to announce the release of Deliverable D5.2, marking a significant milestone in the SmartEdge project. This deliverable provides a report on the first implementation and revised design of low-code programming tools for Edge Intelligence, building upon the design outlined in Deliverable D5.1.
Overview of D5.2
Deliverable D5.2 focuses on the initial implementation and future design of four critical components within the toolchain corresponding to the tasks in Work Package 5 (WP5):
- Semantic-driven Multi-modal Sensor Fusion for Edge Devices
- Swarm Elasticity via Cloud-Edge Interplay
- Adaptive Coordination and Optimization
- Cross-layer Toolchain for Device-Edge-Cloud Continuum
The primary aim is to deliver an integrated toolchain that simplifies the process of building Edge Intelligence applications. By utilizing semantic descriptions of sensing and computing capabilities, as well as data queries, the toolchain effectively decouples application logic from the underlying complexities of software, hardware, and networking elements.
The release of Deliverable D5.2 represents a pivotal step in advancing Edge Intelligence through innovative low-code programming tools. With a focus on semantic integration and multi-modal data processing, the SmartEdge project continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of Edge Computing.
