FOKUS Media Web Symposium 2023

The FOKUS Media Web Symposium (MWS) is an annual international conference organized by SmartEdge project’s partner Fraunhofer FOKUS. It brings together over 200 participants from all over the world to discuss internet-based media delivery. The symposium covers technical aspects, trends, and business-related aspects. 

This year’s symposium (10th) takes place on June 13-14, Berlin, and it will focus on advanced streaming technologies, artificial intelligence for media, and media applications and services. The first conference day hosts workshops, tutorials, and exhibitions, while the second day features a conference.

As one of the partners of the SmartEdge project, Fraunhofer FOKUS is going to showcase demos during the symposium, including 5G Edge Rendering and Streaming enabled by FAMIUM Metaverse Framework, which will be integrated in some SmartEdge applications for running simulations of industrial metaverse applications on the 5G Edge.
